  2. Well I couldn't find many facts about this so I gave out my own

    1. To adopt them. (Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmnArHpWkYQ)
    2. Well first...
    * The person who stole the pet was dumb enough to lose him/her.
    * The owner needed to give the pet back to the shelter because of stuff that's really weird.
    * The animal was born on the streets from another homeless animal and the homeless animal who gave birth to the animal died ε(´סּ︵סּ`)з
    * The animal popped up from the middle of nowhere.
    3. We can take them to the animal shelter by calling the animal shelter or using majestic superpowers to fly them over there.
4.By following the things from the video we watched.
    5. "Only 1 out of every 10 dogs born will find a permanent home."
"The main reasons animals are in shelters: owners give them up, or animal control finds them on the street."
"Homeless animals outnumber homeless people 5 to 1."

  3. 1. The best way is to spread word of animals shelters.
    2. Animals end up in shelters because owners don't want them anymore, so they put them back in the shelter or maybe they are just on the streets and people call the animal shelter.
    3. We can start rescuing them from the streets or try not to let them go.
    4. We can be responsible by making sure they can't escape wherever you put them or making sure they are being fed or getting checked if they're sick.
    5. One interesting fact is that about 24 million animals are being born and there are not enough space in the animal shelters.

    6. According to the National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy (NCPPSP), less than 2% of cats and only 15 to 20% of dogs are returned to their owners.
    7. 25% of dogs that enter local shelters are purebred.

    9. It’s impossible to determine how many stray dogs and cats live in the United States. Estimates for cats alone range up to 70 million.
    10. Only 10% of the animals received by shelters have been spayed or neutered. Overpopulation, due to owners letting their pets accidentally or intentionally reproduce, sees millions of these “excess” animals killed annually.

  12. You can the world how you feel about your local shelter recuse by by using the humane society of the United States.Only 1 of every 10 dogs born will find a home.About twice as many animals enter shelters as strays compared to the number that are relinquished by their owners. Sometimes people move and cannot take their dog with them. The home that they relocate to might not allow dogs. They may be moving in with a roommate who is allergic to a dog or simply doesn’t want them in his or her place. There are also cases of people moving into a new house and not wanting to bring their dog along with them so as to keep it clean. In June 2005, for example, a Pennsylvania man who tried to surrender his dog to a no-kill shelter was told that he would have to make an appointment to return two weeks later when the facility might have room. The man grabbed his dog, got in his pickup truck, and left. At the next intersection, he threw the dog out of the truck and ran over him, crushing the dog beneath his tires. Shelter workers, who wouldn’t help the dog before he died, collected the dog’s remains.
Are there any holes, broken concrete, drains, or swimming pools that your pet could fall into or get stuck in? They need to be fixed before your pet arrives.
Are there any gaps in the fence, or a broken gate, that might allow your new pet to get out of your yard?
Are there any poisons, like snail bait, antifreeze, or other toxic chemicals just sitting out? These things are super-poisonous to animals. Make sure containers are stored away in locked cupboards far out of reach.
Check for dangling electrical cords in the house or outside. Puppies, kittens, and rodents love to chew them, thinking they're toys. Cover cords or tape them down with industrial tape.
How about your toys? Do you have any Legos or other small pieces lying around that an animal could choke on? Keep your things out of reach of little paws.
What about stuff that breaks? If you don't want something to get knocked over or stepped on -- maybe your mom's valuable vase or your favorite model airplane -- put it up high or away for a little while.

  18. How would you help animals with their lives??
How I would help animals is take care of them and treat him/her like my dog. Do you know why animals end up in the shelter?? Well I think that animals end up in the shelter because the owners don't care or don't want them or think that it is a ugly animal. How would help with animals not making into the selters??? Well I would beg my parents to let me to take it home or give to one of my other family members. How can you be responsible for taking care of your own animals??

  19. 1.Share your love Tell the world how you feel about your local shelter or rescue by using The Humane Society of the United States' Facebook share graphics.
2.For the first-time pet owners, there’s often a stigma attached to dogs and cats that come from shelters and adoption centers. Due to the mistaken belief that shelter animals were given up because they didn’t make good pets, many potential owners see them as tainted or undesirable. As a result, shelter animals are frequently overlooked in favor of the puppies and kittens in pet store windows.
3.At these facilities, frightened animals are reassured, sick and injured animals receive treatment or a peaceful end to their suffering, and the animals’ living quarters are kept clean and dry. Workers at these facilities never turn away needy animals and give careful consideration to each animal’s special emotional and physical needs.
4.Be sure you know the diet and feeding schedule of your new pet. Get information from your veterinarian or the pet store,Make sure your pet has plenty of clean, fresh water,Your pet needs a place to call home -- whether that's a tank, cage, or doghouse,All animals need a place where they can go to the bathroom. Unless you're able to train them to use the toilet, cats need a litter box, gerbils need a cage, and dogs need to go outside or in a special lined area,Dogs need plenty of exercise. Physical activity keeps them healthy, happy, and fit. Make sure you walk, run, hike, or play fetch with your dog every day. Not only is exercise good for your pup, but it's good for you, too,It's a good idea to brush and comb your pets every day to get rid of loose or shedding hair,Yes, your pet is your buddy, but you need to be his/her boss! If you don't set up rules for him/her to follow, he/she may act aggressively and out of control. You don't want your dog/ dashing into oncoming traffic, jumping on little kids, or growling at your neighbors, right? So you need to set up rules for him/her to follow and help him/her follow them,Just like we need annual checkups with our doctor and dentist, most pets need regular checkups, too,Just like people, pets thrive on attention! The more love you give, the more you'll get back,Are there any holes, broken concrete, drains, or swimming pools that your pet could fall into or get stuck in? They need to be fixed before your pet arrives,Don't use insect sprays and weed killers around your pets or allow antifreeze to spill in any area where pets hang out. If animals get poisons on their fur or paws, then lick themselves, they can get very sick or even die.
5.There are about 5000 community animal shelters nationwide that are independent; there is no national organization monitoring these shelters. The phrases “humane society” and “SPCA” are generic terms; shelters using those names are not part of the Humane Society of the United States or the ASPCA. Currently, no government institution or animal organization is responsible for tabulating national statistics for the animal protection movement:3(ps this is all i can think of)

We can care for our pets or animals is by feeding them, loving them, or by getting them the right things and by taking them to pets or the doctor if you can not handle them with something important.
The best way to take care of animals in the shelter is by making them toys to play with.
We help animals that don't make it to the shelters by adopting the or finding them and caring for them.
If we don't help the animals in the shelter the 8 million animals that go in the shelter will all die and there will be no more animals in the world.
